Carbohydrates are absolutely necessary for successful weight loss. The only time they can backfire on you is when your body can’t tolerate them very well.
Unfortunately, many weight loss hopefuls do not know how to effectively divert carbs away from their fat cells.
So here is how to get your body to process carbs better:
1. Never delay breakfast: And skipping breakfast is out of the question. You see, even if you eat clean the entire day, skipping breakfast can alter the way your body processes carbs for every meal thereafter. So never skip breakfast.
2. Include ample healthy fat in your diet: A lack of healthy fat will compromise your cell’s membranes ability to absorb carbs. This happens because healthy fat helps your membranes become more permeable. In other words, they become more able to pull nutrients inwards.
3. Reduce your weight: Paradoxically, the more weight you lose, the more carbs will get shuffled to your active cells, not your fat cells. This happens because as you get leaner, your hormonal profile gets better. Your body secretes more hormones that make the process easier.
4. Increase your intake of roughage: The more roughage you have the slower you will digest food. And slower digestion will always promote better carbohydrate tolerance and processing. So increase vegetable intake as much as possible here.
5. Avoid liquid calories: Any type of liquid calorie will be very hard for your active tissues to absorb. This happens because liquid calories digest very quickly. Fast digestion, in turn, decreases absorption in your active tissues.
6. Include lots of resistance training in your exercise regimen: The more exercise you do the better off you will be. And if you focus on resistance training you will get the best results. You see, resistance training makes your cells change in such a way that they absorb more nutrients.
Getting your body to absorb more carbs is a great strategy to accelerate fat loss. So don’t delay here, take action right now!
